Recreating a music video: results
What we found when recreating Adele's Hello music video was that shots are extremely short a lot shorter, typically ranging from 2 to 7 seconds. We also learned the importance lip syncing and performance. We had to learn the lyrics to the song to be able to convincingly look like we are singing the song as well as acting to look as if the lyrics were our reality. This meant looking sad or angry when we needed to depending on particular lyrics.
