Beginning of Planning

Today was the initiation of planning for my music video who I'll be creating with two other creatives.

First we had to decide on the type of video we wanted to make so we could find a song that complemented the style. We decided on quite an abstract piece as opposed to a narrative based video as we felt like we would focus less on performance and more of cinematography and post production. Because of this we chose a song that was quickly paced and not lyrically heavy enabling us to do loads of cuts and make it very interesting. We decided on the song Sheets by Shannon Saunders. This was a great choice because it's repetitive and upbeat, also the artist isn't very well known so her brand wont distract from the brand we are trying to create.
