The Concept

In preparation for our video we first had to come up with a concept. At this point we'd already chosen our song and felt its upbeat tempo in contrast to its sad lyrics would be nice to reference in our video. We're liking the idea of a London Town at night scenario, very gloomy and dark; however topped with loads of bright lights and interesting imagery. As our concept is more abstract based, we aren't very focused on performance. We think it'd be nice to cast a female and male lead to appear in a few of the shots around the city and to reference the lyrics by showing the sad female singing about a man who isn't showing her much interest. We'll use some close ups to show facial expressions but more so show gestures such as holding a cigarette or holding a rose to represent the different personalities
